We farm holistically using permaculture principles. We breed Nigerian Dwarf goats and Heritage Poultry.

At Treechangers Park, we are dedicated to breeding quality Nigerian Dwarf goats that excel in temperament, conformation, and dairy performance. Our breeding program is built on carefully selected premium genetics from proven bloodlines, with a focus on producing healthy, well-balanced goats that are as productive as they are enjoyable to own.
We are a member of the Dairy Goat Society of Australia with our stud registered.

For our breeding program, temperament is just as important as conformation and dairy performance. Goats with calm, friendly, and confident temperaments are easier to handle, experience less stress, integrate better into herds, and are more enjoyable for owners. By selecting for temperament alongside dairy and structural traits, we aim to produce goats that are both highly functional and a pleasure to work with.
Conformation is the foundation of a healthy, functional goat. Correct structure supports longevity, sound movement, reproductive efficiency, and overall wellbeing. In does, proper conformation contributes to the ability to carry kids to term, kid with greater ease, and maintain productivity throughout their lives. By breeding for structural correctness, we aim to produce goats that are not only attractive but capable, resilient, and built to thrive.
Dairy performance is a key focus of our breeding program. We select for productive, well-attached udders with strong capacity, correct teat placement, and ease of milking by both hand and machine. Our goal is to breed does that demonstrate longevity in the dairy, maintain consistent production throughout lactation, and produce high-quality milk with desirable butterfat and protein levels. Wherever possible, breeding decisions are supported by performance records, milk testing, and proven genetics to ensure each generation continues to improve in both productivity and functionality.
We breed our poultry by performance and guided by the Australian Standards.

This page serves as a blog of our farming journey, documenting how we apply permaculture principles to create a productive, sustainable, and resilient farm. We hope to share our experiences, ideas, successes, and lessons learned along the way—both what has worked well and what hasn't. Our goal is to educate, inspire, and connect with others who share a passion for regenerative farming and self-sufficiency. From time to time, we'll also have stuff for sale on here.
These are some of the places we will be, come and have a chat to us after showing is completed. There are normally plenty of goat enthusiasts there.
